MONROE, CT — Masuk High School senior Audrey Lesko was awarded a $5,000 Steven A. Merrihew Performing Arts Scholarship from The Parker Project. Lesko is also nominated for a Sondheim Performing Arts Award. Other recipients of Steven A. Merrihew Performing Arts scholarships were Amy Martinez of Brien McMahon High School and RCA ($10,000) and Varrick Nelson of Stratford High School ($5,000). Masuk girls lacrosse team earns SWC’s top seed

MONROE, CT — What a season it has been for Masuk High’s girls lacrosse team — including 10 wins in 11 conference games to earn the South-West Conference Tournaments top seed. The Panthers will play in Thursday’s quarterfinal round against the loser of Tuesday’s Brookfield-Bethel contest. Masuk defeated Weston 13-7 at home on May 7. Lilly Cameron had five goals.
