MONROE, CT — The Masuk High boys tennis team has posted a 7-3 record heading into the final two matches of the regular season, most recently beating Brookfield 5-2 at Wolfe Park on May 1.
Top singles player Aryan Sharma won 7-6, 6-2 and No. 3 player Evan Boyle won 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.
In doubles play the top tandem of Kyan Milo and Matthew Colberg won 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, the No. 2 team of Codey Schuelke and Alex Belobosky prevailed 7-5, 6-4 and the No. 3 duo of Manav Sannappanavar and Carter Smetak won 6-7, 7-5, 6-4.
In a 5-0 win over Immaculate in Danbury on April 29 Immaculate forfeited second and third doubles.
Sharma won 6-0, 6-1, No. 2 player Anish Sharma won 6-0, 6-0, Boyle won 6-0, 6-0 and Sawyer Judge won 6-3, 1-6, 10-5.
The doubles team of Milo and Colberg won 6-2, 6-0.
