Proclamation celebrates Monroe Ninja Warrior’s achievements in growing sport

MONROE, CT — First Selectman Terry Rooney declared Sunday, March 23, to be Joe Moravsky Day in honor of Monroe’s famed American Ninja Warrior on his birthday. Rooney presented his proclamation inside the gazebo in front of Monroe Town Hall in front of Moravsky’s wife, Stephanie, children Emily, 9, Jacob, 7, and Dylan, 4, his parents, Joseph and Robin Moravsky, and in-laws, Mario and Maureen Silveira. Also in attendance was Rooney’s wife, Nadine, and his goddaughter, Mia Medieros.
