BRIDGEPORT, CT — Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox, the Democratic candidate for Connecticut’s 22nd Senatorial District seat, led her opponent, Republican, Chris Carrena, 51 to 47 percent late Tuesday night. Independent Party candidate Robert Halstead was a distant third. Masuk swim and dive team impresses at championship meet

WESTON, CT — The Masuk High girls swimming and diving team had some standout performances in the South-West Conference Championships. The Panthers came in fifth as a team with a score of 232. Pomperaug of Southbury was first with a score of 562. The swim events were held at Weston Middle School on Saturday after the diving finals took place at New Fairfield High on Oct. 30.
