Record set as Masuk swimmers and divers make big postseason splash

The Masuk High girls swimming and diving team placed eighth, with 266 points, in the Class M State Championships. Masuk had a team record-setting performance from swimmer Lena Savkovic among its tremendous results. Diving championships took place in Middletown on Nov. 6, swim trials were in Cheshire Nov. 9 and the swim finals were at Cornerstone Aquatics Center in West Hartford on Nov. 12.
