The team skated to a 1-0 win over Guilford at home, at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton, on Dec. 23. Francesca Buccieri scored and goaltenders Jen Velky and Arianna Bartolomei combined for the shutout. SWU out shot Guilford 27 to 12. Mario Testa opened Testo’s at 920 Madison Ave. in Bridgeport in 1976, and despite a change in ownership, a brief retirement and two different locations along the way, Testo’s continues to be a family operation 48 years later.
