Seventh graders enrolled in Jockey Hollow’s STEM Academy took a trip to Meigs Point Nature Center in Hammonasset with their science class in early October. The nature center, which is part of the Connecticut state park system, is operated by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection with the expressed purpose of educating people about environmental preservation.
