Police: Con artist picked up $30,000 cash at Monroe victim’s home

MONROE, CT — A Monroe family reported the theft of $30,000 cash in a phone scam, in which the caller sent a driver to their home to pick up the money. Masuk girls basketball team rolls past Kolbe before heading to Springfield

MONROE, CT — Basketball games are commonly won in the final quarter, if not the waning minutes … or seconds. For Masuk High’s girls basketball team the first quarter was the difference-maker in its 60-43 win over visiting Kolbe Cathedral of Bridgeport on Thursday.
