Two Monroe women were among the honorees during the Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA second annual Robin Bove Memorial “Have a Heart for a Cause” Gala, a fundraising dinner held at Tashua Knolls in Trumbull on Feb. 6. Bove, a member of Masuk High School’s Class of 1985, was a mother, a paraprofessional at the Trumbull Early Childhood Education Center, a fitness trainer and certified Zumba instructor known for her “beautiful smile, infectious laugh and great sense of humor,” according to the event program. A videoboard can enhance Masuk sports fans’ game day experiences

MONROE, CT — A new videoboard at Benedict Stadium could make Masuk High School’s athletes larger than life with a live-stream of game action, highlights, photos and player bios. The 13-by-24-foot screen could also enhance Masuk’s annual graduation ceremonies.
