MONROE, CT — Townwide registration for kindergarten for the fall of 2022 is now underway. To be eligible, children must be at least five-years-old on or before January 1, 2023, according to state law.
Monroe Public Schools has an online registration process. In order to begin your child’s kindergarten registration, you must complete the registration application found on the district’s website, then follow the path below to get to the registration site:

- Hover Over the “Parents” Tab
- Click on “Registration” and Follow the Directions
For assistance, contact your child’s school at the phone numbers listed below, or send an email to [email protected]. If you do not know which elementary school your child will attend, a listing of streets with their designated elementary school is available under both “Registration” and “Schools” on our district website.
The elementary principals will record a kindergarten information video that will be on our website beginning Thursday, February 24, 2022. To find this recording, follow the steps below:
