Monroe Historical Society seeks donations for annual Christmas Fair

The Monroe Historical Society's annual Christmas Fair is held at the historic East Village Meeting House, 433 Barn Hill Road.

MONROE, Conn. — Shoppers can always find unique holiday gifts at the Monroe Historical Society’s annual Christmas Fair. Held at the East Village Methodist Meeting House on Barn Hill Road, the fair offers ornaments, sleds, holiday decorations and toys, among its vast selection.

However, donations of items are needed for the Historical Society to offer a wide selection again this December.

“We basically take anything and everything Christmas/holiday related,” said Katie Caciula, a volunteer and Monroe Historical Society Board member. “Including decor, records, apparel, etc.”

She said there are two drop boxes outside the East Village Meeting House, 433 Barn Hill Road. If any donations are too large for the drop box, donors can text of call Monroe Historical Society President Karen Cardi at 203-521-4453.
