Proposal to exempt municipal land from Monroe zoning regs under review

MONROE, CT — Town zoning regulations have an open space requirement for subdivisions, which could increase the complexity or cost of the project to transform St. Jude School into a community center, some officials say. To preserve a portion of the property as open space, the layout and setbacks may have to be reconfigured. Masuk rallies in 7th inning for 7-2 win over rival Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — Down to their final three outs the Masuk High Panthers rallied to defeat Newtown 7-2 at Fairfield Hills on Friday night. The Panthers got stellar relief pitching from Justin Feinstein (four-and-two-thirds shutout frames) who picked up the win.
