MONROE, CT — Dunkin’ Donuts is offering free coffee for a year for the first 100 guests in line at its new location, starting at 9 a.m. this Wednesday, Aug. 7, when it celebrates the grand opening of its new restaurant at 395 Monroe Turnpike.
Free Coffee for a Year Giveaway recipients will receive a coupon book containing four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months, good only at the Dunkin’ at 395 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe. The coupon books will be distributed beginning at 10 a.m.
All guests are invited to spin a prize wheel to win free Dunkin’ merchandise, while supplies last, and can enjoy a complimentary DJ and photo booth from 10 a.m. to noon.
Dunkin’ franchisee Emanuel “Manny” Pinheiro, of Monroe Acquisition Co., will commemorate the occasion with a $3,000 donation to Connecticut Foodshare in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.
Connecticut Foodshare supports individuals and families across the state of Connecticut by addressing root causes, creating long-term solutions, and distributing nutritious food through local partner programs in an effort to alleviate hunger.
“We are excited to unveil our new restaurant to Monroe residents and the surrounding community,” said Pinheiro. “Additionally, we are proud to support Connecticut Foodshare with this $3,000 donation in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, and to underscore an organization that provides impactful support and resources to the local community.”
A check presentation and grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m.
The 1,970-square-foot Dunkin’ employs 25 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Monroe Dunkin’ features the brand’s new restaurant design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:
