Think Pink Luminaria of Hope display to glow on Monroe Green Saturday

MONROE, CT — Townspeople are invited to see the Think Pink Luminaria of Hope on the Monroe Green this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The event was organized by Think Pink Monroe to raise awareness of breast cancer.

“We will begin with a sunset yoga session led by Lilia Wills of Bliss Yoga and after dusk, do a lighting of luminaries in pink,” said Jason Maur, one of the organizers. “Masks are mandatory and all social distancing guidelines must be followed. The luminaria will be left lit if you would prefer to drive by after the event.”

All the money raised from selling luminaria will benefit St. Vincent’s Swim Across the Sound. To buy a luminaria, Venmo five dollars to @Bonnie-Maur, who will donated it, or give the money directly to https://give.stvincents.org/DonateNow.
