Summer Concert Series: Nightshift will play at Wolfe Park tonight

Nightshift will take fans back to the '60s, '70s and '80s at Wolfe Park tonight.

MONROE, CT — Nightshift, a ’60s, ’70s and ’80s cover band, will perform at Wolfe Park tonight as part of the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department’s 33rd annual Summer Concert Series.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to bring a blanket and chairs to enjoy the show with friends and family.

In the event of inclement weather, a decision over whether or not to cancel the show will be made by 3 p.m. To check, call 203-339-6106 or visit the Monroe Parks and Recreation website.

All concerts are on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. The rest of the concert schedule includes:

Still Kickin’ with the Big City Horns, a horn band from East Granby, Aug. 13

AfterShock, a rock and dance band, Aug. 20

The KC Sisters, five sisters ranging from age 17 to 23 sing, play the violin, bass, guitar, piano and drums, Aug. 27.

Mary Beth Sippin and the Goldrush Band, plays a mix of original songs, classic country, swing, acoustic and traditional bluegrass, Sept. 3.
