Rec. Notes: Summer Fun Days Camp, soccer and tennis lessons …

Many of Monroe Parks and Recreation's summer programs are held at Wolfe Park.

MONROE, CT — Monroe Parks and Recreation is offering a variety of programs this winter with more offerings available in the spring and summer seasons.

Summer Fun Days Camp is open for registration for students in PK-3 through eighth  grade. Register now through April 30 to receive early-bird-special pricing.

For students ages 14-15 in ninth and eleventh grade, the Summer Fun Days CIT Program is an opportunity to learn the leadership, child safety, and conflict resolution skills to be a future camp counselor. Applications are located on the website and must be returned to the Parks and Recreation office to be considered for an interview.

Connecticut Soccer Network will host a Soccer Camp during the April vacation break for students ages 5-14. Options for a full day, or morning or afternoon only are available.

Registration for Spring Tennis Lessons for youth and adult players is now open. Summer Tennis Camp is also available for individuals ages 5-18, and JR Summer Tennis Clinic is available for individuals ages 5-14. Early-bird pricing is valid through June 6, but participants must be fully registered and paid.
