Pink lights a beacon of hope amid the darkness of breast cancer

MONROE, CT — Townspeople came together to create a luminaria display on the Monroe Green Saturday evening as part of Think Pink Monroe’s efforts to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The event began with a sunset yoga session led by Lilia Wills of Bliss Yoga. Then participants lit luminaries in pink.
