MONROE, CT — Monroe police participated in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run benefitting Special Olympics Connecticut Friday afternoon. Along the way, officers received honks of support from drivers on Monroe Turnpike and passed cheering crowds at Town Hall and Monroe Elementary School.
