MONROE, CT — The Save Our Stepney Taskforce held a Mad Hatters Party on the historic Stepney Green last Sunday.
Homemade hats and fascinators were strongly encouraged, celebrating a part of town that once had a thriving hat making industry.
The party featured music by Jim Ferrara, prizes for the best hats, Cornhole, croquet and surprise activities, as well as snacks and beverages.
The highlight was a Cake Walk featuring 10 cakes from local bakers.
