MONROE, CT — Classic cars, four fire engines and an ambulance were on display in the Bill’s Drive-In parking lot on Monroe Turnpike Saturday evening, during the Monroe Street Rodders’ annual 9/11 Memorial Car Show.
Alan Del Favero, president of the Street Rodders, said a ceremony honoring all who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks was held with an open mic for anyone who wanted to speak.
Close to 70 cars were entered into the show.
