PowerSchool’s data breach impacts Monroe’s schools

MONROE, CT — PowerSchool notified Monroe Public Schools about a data breach allowing an unauthorized party to gain access to student information. The town’s district was among many impacted nationally and internationally. PowerSchool, a student information system used by more than 70 percent of school districts across the country, serves more than 60 million students and teachers. MONROE, CT — Masuk High’s girls basketball team overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat visiting Newtown 38-34 on Monday night.
