NEWTOWN, CT — Masuk girls golfers lost to Newtown High School in a game at Newtown Country Club Monday, 207 to 221.
Panthers completing the par 34 course in the fewest number of strokes included Carrie Wittenauer 51, Lauren Rosati and Izzy Roy with 56, and Lauren Breyan 58. The top four finishers are factored into a team’s total score.
Other Masuk scores were Kate Wittenauer 60 and Gabby Pena 61, who completed the match as an alternate.
Kendall Reed of Newtown led all scorers with a 45.
Other Newtown scores included Caitlin Briggs 48, Nidhi Mukka 51, Maddy Watson and Norah Kolb 63 (Kolb played as an alternate), and Abby Watson 66.
