Monroe detectives investigate commercial burglary, make arrest in neighborhood theft

MONROE, CT — Police are investing an attempted burglary at Sippin Energy Products, 234 Main St., that took place late Saturday night. At approximately 11:49 p.m., officers were dispatched to the business for a burglar alarm. While officers searched the parking lot and storefront, a key holder for Sippin Energy Products arrived on the scene to grant them entry into the building. The officers searched the interior of the building and found an open rear window with a rock on a nearby chair, according to police. Esli Molina, 37, worked at pizzerias in Norwalk and Greenwich in his 20s, learning the business in hopes of owning his own restaurant one day. Masuk swim and dive team continues to record impressive times

MONROE, CT — Despite falling 93-85 to visiting Weston on Thursday, Sept. 19, the Masuk High girls swim and dive team had plenty to be happy about with 25 best times recorded. The Panthers have 26 qualifying events for the South-West Conference Championships and 12 more for the State Championships.
