MONROE, CT — Monroe Volunteer Fire Department members produced a second video offering tips on fire prevention and safety during National Fire Safety Week.
Today’s video focuses on what to do if you find yourself in a fire, how your family can plan to be prepared in an emergency, and the importance of smoke detectors.
This is the first year firefighters cannot visit the schools to teach fire safety because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so they produced daily videos on safety and prevention for all residents, which will be shared on their Facebook page all week long.
