Moretti family thankful to the town after loss of beloved coach

To All Our Family, Friends, and the Entire Town of Monroe,

I wanted to take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude from the entire Moretti Family. Words cannot express how touched we all were by the support we received from friends, family, and the town we call home, Monroe. The level of support was unimaginable, but greatly appreciated.

Tony loved this town, he loved the kids he taught, the people he worked with, and he LOVED anything having to do with Masuk athletics.

Paul Anthony Moretti

He was a townie, but he wore that badge with honor. To know Monroe is to love Monroe, and that is exactly what Tony did- he loved the town he grew up in. He dedicated years of service and volunteered hours upon hours of his time to coach and be a mentor to Monroe’s Youth. He was special. He had a gift.

On behalf of the entire family — Ava, Gianna, Cathy, Dennis, Joe, Tai, Luca, Joey and myself, we thank each and every one of you who took the time to send a message, send a card, send a meal, donate a dollar or more, be present at the wake and funeral, or just pray for us and for Tony. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This was and will be a challenging time for our family, but we will get through this together and make sure Tony’s legacy is not forgotten. We will live life to the fullest, love our Monroe family and friends, and be good people just the way Tony would want.

So again, I wanted to take this time to thank you all from the bottom of hearts. We feel the love and support and appreciate all of it.

All the best,

Liz Moretti
