MONROE, CT — Signups and sponsorships are still available for the Rotary Club of Monroe’s 31st annual Service Above Self Golf Tournament, scheduled to be held at the Chris Bargas Golf Club at Whitney Farms, 175 Shelton Road, on Thursday, Sept. 18.

Over the years, the Rotary Club of Monroe has funded a wide range of projects through proceeds from the golf tournament.

The civic organization supports Rotary efforts worldwide, but its primary focus has always been the local community, including families who rely on the Monroe Food Pantry and Project Warmth, improvements at Wolfe Park, student scholarships, book donations to Monroe’s schools, and grants to volunteer organizations such as Monroe Little League and the town’s volunteer emergency services.
