MONROE, CT — The Monroe Police Department will host a DEA National Prescription Drug Takeback Day event this Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Residents can safely dispose of unused and expired prescription and over-the-counter medication by giving it to officers at the front entrance to the police station at 7 Fan Hill Road. Needles will not be accepted.
Safely disposing of drugs keeps it out of the wrong hands and protects the environment.

Bring medications in original containers with the label removed.
