Logan scores four, Halliday three to lift field hockey team to wins

MONROE, CT — Amelia Logan of the Masuk High field hockey team scored a hat-trick plus one, accounting for all of her team’s goals in a 4-0 win at Hamden on Oct. 2.

The Panthers bounced back from a 4-1 loss to Brookfield on Sept. 29.

Sam Henry and Molly Halliday had assists. The defense and goaltender Valerie Vilca combined to hold the opposition scoreless through regulation for the fourth time this season.

Halliday then led the way with all of her team’s cage-finders, scoring a hat-trick, in a 3-0 win over Immaculate on Oct. 4.
