MANCHESTER, Conn. — Ten members of the Jockey Hollow Middle School Track and Field team, who qualified in their events, competed in the 18th annual Connecticut Middle School State Track & Field Championship Meet on Saturday, May 23.
“We are so proud of every student on our team,” said Coach Donald Casey Jr. “Twenty-one out of 56 student-athletes met state standards in various events throughout the season to qualify for the championship meet. A total of ten students were able to compete in this meet during Memorial Day weekend. Overall, every student works extremely hard and helps us to create a family type team atmosphere. Go Lions!”
