Incumbent state representative, J.P. Sredzinski, is running unopposed

State Rep. J.P. Sredzinski, R-Monroe.

MONROE, CT — J.P. Sredzinski, an incumbent Republican legislator, has a clear path to retaining the 112th District seat in the Connecticut General Assembly, while seeking another two-year-term this November. He is running unopposed.

Sredzinski, 40, has represented Monroe and Newtown in Hartford since 2015.

He is married to Emanuela Palmares and is the father to Caio. Sredzinski, who is superintendent of public safety dispatch for the town of Stratford, lists his address as 280 Shelton Road in Monroe.

He has earned Bachelor’s of Arts and a Master’s of Public Administration degrees from the University of Connecticut.

Prior to his experience in state government, Sredzinski served as chairman of the Monroe Town Council.

On the Legislature, he is a ranking member of the Public Safety Committee, and a member of the General Assembly’s Human Services and Higher Education committees.

  1. Hi Bill, 280 Shelton road is the residence of Patrick O’harra. Does Sredinski live at Patrick’s house ? I drive past that address every day, and see just Patrick’s cars in the parking lot. Are we sure Sredinski lives in the district he represents? Don’t get me wrong, I like JP, but the address mentioned threw a flag.
