MONROE, CT — Family Character Nights are coming back to Great Hollow Lake on Wednesday evenings this summer.
Families can enjoy an evening swim at the lake, use of the playground and build sand castles on the beach, while listening to children’s musical entertainment. They can bring snacks or make a purchase from a vendor.
“Don’t forget your camera when visiting our characters,” Parks and Recreation Director Missy Orosz said.
The Character Nights are free for Monroe residents with a valid Wolfe Park sticker. There is a $15 car entrance fee for town residents without a sticker and it’s $30 per car for nonresidents.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The nights run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. This year’s lineup of entertainers includes:
- July 7: Ryan San Angelo with Winnie the Pooh and Baby Shark
- July 16: Judy Pancoast with Elmo and Cookie Monster
- July 23: Susan Peak with Bluey and Bingo
- July 30: Steve Elci with Rex and Zurg
