Duckworth finishes first overall in the 2022 Sprint for Monroe

Jake Duckworth, 26, was the first to cross the finish line during the 2022 Victorinox Sprint for Monroe at Wolfe Park.

MONROE, CT — It was a cool day for running when 310 participants lined up for the start of the annual Victorinox Sprint for Monroe Sunday, on what was the event’s 30th Anniversary.

Jake Duckworth, 26, was the number one overall finisher with a time of 00:15:54. He also won last year’s race, which raises money for local charities.

Andrea Myers, 39, is the first woman to cross the finish line at the Victorinox Sprint for Monroe Sunday.

Eddie Tristine, 21, was second overall with a time of 00:16:17 and Andrea Myers, 39, was the first female finisher and third overall with a time of 0018:53.

The third overall male finisher was Ryan Glick, 38, (00:18:59); the second female finisher was Josephine Jacob-Dolan, 27, (00:20:00); and third was Kristina Kelly, 39, (00:21:58).

Kelly was also the Top Female Monroe Resident. Second was Stacy Huber, 37, (00:22:24); and Jenna Rice, 34, (00:22:27).

Tristine was the Top Male Monroe Resident and Glick was second. Darrin Fodor, 44, took third in that category with a time of 00:19:26.

Fodor won the Top Male Masters Category. George Buchanan, 64, was second (00:19:57) and Frederic Dubois, 55, was third (00:20:35).

Susan Napolitano, 47, won the Top Female Masters Category with a time of 00:23:24; Cynthia Degirolamo, 55, was second (00:24:10), and Lori Kopchik, 57, was third (00:24:43).
