A Fawn Hollow Elementary School student receives assistance after stepping off the bus for her first day Tuesday.

MONROE — Acting Superintendent of Schools Joseph Kobza allowed The Sun to join his morning visits to Masuk High School and Monroe and Fawn Hollow elementary schools on Tuesday morning as the first students arrived for the new school year.
