MONROE, Conn. — A 53-year-old Monroe man allegedly lifted his shirt to show a holstered firearm during an argument at North Brook Condominiums on Friday night, according to police.
Police determined he did this after confronting a teenager, who he accused of speeding through the complex and blowing through stop signs in his car. The driver was 19 and his passenger was a 17-year-old juvenile male, police said.
Officers responded to a complaint made by the passenger just before 8 p.m.
The man was charged with threatening in the first degree, displaying a firearm, risk of injury to a minor and second degree breach of peace. He was released after posting seven percent of his $2,500 bond for an April 27 court date.
