Land Rover thief dumps child safety seats, license plates in downtown Shelton

MONROE, CT — A 61-year-old Shelton woman reported her white 2018 Land Rover Discovery stolen from the Village Square parking lot, 401 Monroe Turnpike, on March 7. At approximately 12:43 p.m., she told officers she had parked her vehicle at 8 a.m. and went into a business, then later went out to lunch with a friend. Her Land Rover was still in the parking spot when they left. Police said the vehicle was unlocked with the victim’s purse inside. MONROE, CT — A new videoboard at Benedict Stadium could make Masuk High School’s athletes larger than life with a live-stream of game action, highlights, photos and player bios.
