Six Panthers score goals as Masuk wins again

Alex May scored and had an assist in Masuk's 6-1 win over Wilton.

SHELTON, CT — The Masuk High hockey team skated to a 6-1 win over Wilton at The Rinks at Shelton on Saturday night. The Panthers got goals from six players as they improved to 5-1.

Nick Kondub, Luke Kondub, Alex May, Kyle Sutfin, Christian LaBella and Colin Deering all lit the lamp.

AJ Michetti and LaBella both logged three assists, Austin Braiewa had a pair of assists, and May, Nick Kondub and Luke Kondub each had one.

Goaltenders Andy Guerrera and Brady Floramo combined to man nets as the Panthers held the opposition to just a goal for the second time and two or less tallies for the fourth time this winter.

Masuk visits Northeastern at Bolton Ice Palace on Monday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m. and returns to Shelton Wednesday, Jan. 18, to host New Milford at 8 p.m.
