Ned Lamont will reportedly nominate him for a Superior Court judgeship, setting the stage for a special election to fill his vacancy. The 21st District represents Shelton, most of Stratford and parts of Monroe and Seymour. The special election is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25, Lamont announced. The team skated to a 1-0 win over Guilford at home, at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton, on Dec. 23. Francesca Buccieri scored and goaltenders Jen Velky and Arianna Bartolomei combined for the shutout. SWU out shot Guilford 27 to 12.
