MONROE, CT — Masuk High’s girls swim and dive team split a pair of meets this week, falling 96-86 to Brookfield on Sept. 24 and defeating New Milford 90-75 on Sept. 26. Against Brookfield the Panthers earned first place in the following events: Diving – Carly Jordan; 50 Free – Lena Savkovic; 200 Free Relay – (Savkovic, Murzinska, Eannotti, Morales); and 100 Breaststroke – Lucia Morales. Esli Molina, 37, worked at pizzerias in Norwalk and Greenwich in his 20s, learning the business in hopes of owning his own restaurant one day.
