Illegal dumping piles construction debris on Bagburn Road

MONROE, CT — Police are investigating a dumping incident that blocked the east bound lane of Bagburn Road with construction debris and household garbage Friday. Police received a complaint just before 9 p.m. and the Monroe Public Works Department later arrived with a dump truck and a loader. It reportedly took about 30 minutes to do the cleanup due to the extent of the mess. Most of the materials appeared to be from a home renovation, police said.
