MONROE, CT — The Rotary Club of Monroe, whose motto is “Service Above Self,” is seeking nominees from the Monroe community to be honored at the club’s 2025 Service Above Self Awards Breakfast. The event, scheduled for Thursday, May 22, will be an opportunity to honor students and adults throughout the town who have exemplified the service-focused nature of this Rotary Club and that of tens of thousands of clubs around the world.
The Monroe club is seeking nominees from the following categories: Business/Industry, Education, and General Community Service. Honorees must have a connection to Monroe, through schools, residency, or work. Club members will review the nominees, make selections, and announce the selected honorees in early May.
Members of the Monroe community may nominate adult honorees from the above categories via an online Google form. The deadline for nominations is April 30, 2025. The link to that form is here: https://forms.gle/CfGfkEQD6ztbjRmG9.
