Masuk High’s boys volleyball team concluded a stretch of four straight out-of-conference matches with a trio of victories in as many days and kept their winning ways going in a South-West Conference clash.
The Panthers defeated Daniel Hand of Madison and Bridgeport Central each by 3-0 scores, April 4 and 5, respectively, then edged visiting Staples of Westport 3-2 on April 6.
In the win over Hand, the Panthers won 25-15, 25-9, 25-15. Nathan McCauley had 11 kills, Daniel Ferris four kills and Nathan Kurkoski 17 assists.
Against Central the game scores were 25-12, 25-12, 25-15. McCauley logged seven kills, Ferris tallied four kills and Nathan Kukoski had 11 assists.
Masuk dug into South-West Conference action with the first of two matches against Newtown, winning 3-1 on the road this Monday. The Panthers will host Newtown on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
