Masuk swimmers, divers finish 7th in SWC Championships, win Sportsmanship Award

The Masuk High School Girls Swim and Dive team finished in a seventh place tie with Joel Barlow during the SWC Championships on Oct. 30 with 170 points.

“We had 15 seasonal best times and high scores at SWCs,” Head Coach Emily DeMace said. “We also won the 2023 Sportsmanship Award! I would also like to highlight our junior diver, Carly Jordan, who placed 3rd in diving.”

“It was a great competition,” Jordan said. “I achieved my personal best score and had a great time.”

Among the other Panthers’ medalists were: Lena Savkovic, 100 backstroke, 5th place; and Skye Eannotti, Yara Shaik, Savkovic, Lucia Morales, 200 free relay, 6th place.
