SHELTON — The Masuk High hockey team doubled up Watertown-Pomperaug 4-2 at the Rinks at Shelton on Feb. 7.
Nick Kondub netted a hat-trick and Christian LaBella also scored. Luke Kondub assisted all four goals. Nick Kondub, Connor Ewald and LaBella also had assists. Maddex LaFountain was in net for the victory.
The Panthers dropped a 3-2 decision to Newtown-New Fairfield in Danbury two days later. The Kondubs accounted for the scoring with a goal apiece. James Cybart and Nick Kondub added assists.
Masuk hosted Hall on Senior Night, Feb. 14, and won 10-2. Nick Kondub scored five times, LaBella scored twice, and Luke Kondub, Max Laroche and Tommy DePonte also hit the net.
Luke Kondub had four assists. Aidan Alexander and Conner Kehlenbach both set up three goals. Nick Kondub and Ryan Ewald both had two assists. Cybart, Trey Migliarese and DaPonte also had helpers.
