The Masuk High hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie with Watertown-Pomperaug at Taft School on Feb. 8. Christian LaBella scored for the Panthers and was assisted by A.J. Michetti and Austin Braiewa. Maddex LaFountain was in goal for the Panthers.
Masuk went to Danbury Ice Arena to take on Newtown-New Fairfield on Feb. 11 and earned an 8-2 win. Nick Kondub scored three times, Drew Scalia netted two and Luke Kondub, LaBella and Colin Deering all scored.
Luke Kondub and Scalia both racked up four assists, and Michetti, Kyle Sutfin and Nick Kondub each had an assist. LaFountain was in goal.
