Masuk girls swim and dive improves to 4-1

The Masuk girls swim and dive team won a meet against Stratford 88-82 Tuesday, improving the Panthers’ record to 4-1 on the season.

“The closest meet we have had in a long time!” said Head Coach Emily DeMace. “We were tied 31-31 after the 50 free, we were down by 2 points after the 500, and then we took it over at the 200 freelay and held onto first until the very end!”

Among the highlights, the Panthers took first in the medley relay (Lena Savkovic, Lucia Morales, Yara Shaik, Skye Eannotti), the 50 free (Morales), 100 free (Savkovic), 200 freestyle relay (Emily Hull, Savkovic, Shaik, Morales) and 100 Breaststroke (Morales).

DeMace said all of the subsequent places and points combined for a Masuk victory.
