Masuk girls lacrosse team advances to state semis

MONROE, CT — The top seed Masuk High’s girls lacrosse team got big offensive performances from Lily Cameron, Bailey Bajda and Sam Henry en route to advanced to the state semifinals.

The Panthers defeated No. 8 Guilford at home on Thursday and will take on either No. 4 Cheshire or No. 5 Farmington in the June 4 semifinals of the Class L bracket.

Cameron netted six goals; Bajda had five goals, one assist and five draw controls; and Henry notched four goals, two assists, 11 draw controls and two ground balls.
