Masuk girls golfers make it 4-0 with wins on home course

MONROE, Conn. — Masuk High’s girls golf team is off to a 4-0 start having won three matches in as many days this week and will go for four-in-four when the Panthers visit Joel Barlow at Redding Country Club Thursday.

The Panthers followed up Monday’s win at Pomperaug with a 182-222 win over visiting Barlow on Tuesday and a 184-218 victory over Immaculate of Danbury, also at Whitney Farms Golf Course, on Wednesday.

In the most recent victory, over Immaculate, Adriana Lupo earned medalist honors carding a 41, Alex Cecchino had a 43, Abigail Yeager 51, Emma McIntyre 49 and Megan Putnam 59.

Against Barlow, Lupo again led the way with a low score of 43, Cecchino had a 45, Yeager 46, McIntyre 48 and Putnam 63.
