Masuk girls basketball team loses 2 games to tough conference foes

The Masuk High girls basketball team fell 52-31 at home to Brookfield on Wednesday and lost 60-43 at New Milford on Friday in a couple of challenging SWC battles.

Against Brookfield, Grace Kearney had 11 points, Hannah Fagan scored seven, Grace Sheppard logged six and Bailey Bajda netted five.

The Panthers visit Immaculate Monday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. then play back-to-back home games Wednesday and Thursday against Maloney and Bethel, both at 7.
