George L. Hanlon loved his family and will be missed by all

George L. Hanlon

George L. Hanlon, of Winter Garden, Fla., formerly of Monroe, died Sunday, October 10, 2021.

He was born in Milford and raised by his late parents Francis and Anne Lucas Hanlon. George worked for AT&T as a supervisor in Bridgeport for many years, and had worked as a Fiber Optics Engineer for Tele-Communications Inc. until his retirement.

George Hanlon was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother-in-law who will be missed by all.

He was the husband of the late Madeline D. Hanlon and was survived by his son, Christopher Hanlon and his wife Jennifer, his daughter, Jenifer Stanczyk and her husband Michael, his brother-in-law, Frank V. DeLieto, and his grandchildren Mia, Sophia, Molly and Olivia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude Parish, 707 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe, on Monday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Monroe Center Cemetery, Old Tannery Road in Monroe. Arrangements are in care of the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home.
