Francisco pours in 42 points as Panthers roll to victory

MONROE, CT — Brandon Francisco compiled 42 points to lift the Masuk High boys’ basketball team to a 79-50 win over visiting Kaynor Tech in a nonconference game on Wednesday, Jan. 26.

Francisco scored 20 in Masuk’s 33-point opening quarter as the Panthers seized early control of the game. He hit four 3-pointers in the triumph.

Sean Minnick had 13 points and Matt Domenichelli scored 10.

The Panthers got back to South-West Conference action two nights later and fell 63-50 to visiting Newtown. Masuk hosts New Milford in another SWC tilt on Monday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m.
